A medallion was presented to Mr.Phani Kumar, Director, eSeva for the contribution of eSeva in making electronic delivery of citizen services simpler for citizens on Sunday, April 6th 2003 in San Francisco, California.  This medal was awarded by the Chairman of the Computer World Honors Committe, Mr. James Mcgovern in the historic City Hall of San Francisco.  This award was given for the best eGovernance initiatives to benerit society using Information Technology and also for archiving a case study of eSeva presented by Mr.Phani Kumar in all the IT reference libraries, Museums and institutions around the world for the reference of current and future developers and administrators.  In this context, Mr. Mcgovern and other distinguished members have lauded the efforts of Government of Andhra Pradesh in India and congratulated on the outstanding achievement.
