The Prime Minister
of Lao People's Democratic Republic,
Mr.Boungnang Vorachith visited eSeva Center
Khairtabad on 18/06/2003 at 09.00 a.m. The
Hon'ble Prime Minister and his entourage
accompained by Hon'ble Minister for Commercial
Taxes Sri K.Vijayarama Rao visited the various
activites of the eSeva centre.
Mr.Phani Kumar,
Director of eSeva gave a detailed account of the
facilities and services rendered through the
citizen centric electronic eSeva centres and
other alternate media like ATMs and Banks.
In answer to a question, the Prime Minister
stated that there is no such concept in practice
in Laos now. Inspired by the success of
electronic delivery of citizen services through
eSeva, the Prime Minister said he would
implement such a system in Laos too.
