• Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducts special recruitment and competitive examination for different gazetted and non-gazetted posts to an extent of 203 posts in the State Government.  In order to provide effective information services,  the APPSC is pleased to extend the facility of rendering information on various services, the APPSC is pleased to extend the facility of rendering information on various services through eSeva centers.

• In all 11490 candidates have applied for these posts out of which 7760 applications have been admitted based on prescribed qualifications.

• APPSC scrutinizes the applications for compliance with qualifications and other selection criteria.  The written examination will be held at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Waranagal and Hyderabad for which hall tickets are stated to have been sent in the last week of May 2003 by APPS.  The commission is holding different written tests for different posts as per the scheme and syllabus between 17.06.03 to 26.06.03.

• A candidate desirous of finding out the status of his application can now approach eSeva centre with particulars of advertisement no. post code, name and date of birth, etc., Previously the candidates were contacting the Commission's office to now the status of the applications.

• eSeva operators will printout a report of the status of the application and deliver it to the applicant.

• Re.5/- is charged as transaction fee from the candidate

• With the launch of above services through the eSeva network, an opportunity is created to provide information of services through eSeva centers.  Other services of APPSC will be added shortly
